Upon completing our program, you'll earn the Safelite SafeTech certification and develop skills for unsupervised glass repair, replacement, and recalibrations. Responsibilities

• Learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training, including observing and assisting in auto glass installation and repair, recalibrating automotive safety systems, and providing additional services and products.
• Study and pass tests to become a Safelite-certified Technician, demonstrating proficiency and a positive attitude.
• Operate company and customer vehicles, tools, and chemicals safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.

Benefits

• Starting pay at $20.10/hour, increasing to $24.30/hour after training and certification.
• Earn additional income through services like wiper blade replacement.
• Opportunities for promotion within the first year, with potential earnings up to $31.10/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, and use hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle in compliance with laws and monitoring systems.
• Excellent customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and handle chemicals safely.
