This isn’t a typical desk job! You’ll work outdoors, in various weather conditions, using your hands in an ever-changing environment.

As a Technician Trainee, You Will:

• Be paid to learn through hands-on and classroom training, including installing and repairing auto glass, recalibrating safety systems, and providing additional services.
• Study and pass tests to become a Safelite-certified Technician, demonstrating proficiency and following techniques.
• Operate a company vehicle and tools safely during the workday.

What You’ll Get:

• Competitive pay starting at $22/hour, increasing to $23/hour after training and certification.
• Earn $5 per set of wiper blades added for safety.
• Opportunity for promotion within the first year: up to $28/hour as a Senior Tech and $30/hour as a Master Tech, based on performance.
• Benefits valued at over $10k, including 401(k) with matching, medical plans, paid time off, holidays, and volunteer days.
• Option to buy or sell additional PTO, up to 16 hours.
• Up to $5,250 annually in tuition reimbursement.
• Paid training with all necessary tools and resources.

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work scheduled days.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• High school diploma/GED preferred; ability to read and write.
