PEP BOYS / Mavis Tire in Hazlet, NJ is seeking a General Service Technician for full-time work in automotive service, repair, and tire sales. The role offers paid training, weekly pay with incentives, and opportunities to grow within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

You will perform tire mounting/dismounting, oil and fluid checks, basic maintenance, and inspections while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
