Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire in Beverly, NJ is hiring full-time General Service Technicians to perform tire services and basic maintenance, with paid training and opportunities to grow within the company. You will mount/dismount tires, balance wheels, change oil, check fluids, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced shop.

Prior automotive experience helps but is not required. Competitive weekly pay, weekly incentives, benefits including medical, dental, and a 401(k) with match, plus paid vacation

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
