Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an Auto Finance Regional Area Credit Manager to oversee credit operations for auto dealer originated (indirect) consumer loans across multiple geographic markets. You will lead credit decisions, manage dealer relations, and drive compliance and risk oversight in a high-velocity portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related field preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience in credit or auto financing.
• Experience with underwriting and credit decisioning.
• Strong knowledge of policies, procedures, and risk management.

• Responsible for monitoring portfolio compliance and risk.
• Ensures all staff are properly trained and that all policies/procedures and regulations are in compliance.
• Makes recommendations for policy changes to improve effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Local Dealer knowledge and relationships
• Experience working with multiple dealership and dealer groups
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Prime Auto underwriting experience
• Demonstrate a professional, personable and friendly communication style with a focus on customer service and an ability to interact with all levels of individuals on the phone and in person
• Enjoy working independently and effectively in a deadline-driven, multi-task environment, with organization and attention to detail being imperative

Compensation Range

$93,000 - $189,000 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
