Job description

Ensure the proper functioning of the electrical parts of machinery or equipment present in the job site, plants, and maintenance bases, in compliance with superior instructions and following the appropriate manuals supplied by the manufacturers. Ensure the respect of Quality and HSE procedures and practices.

Tasks

1. Perform ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the equipment and devices, providing preventive routine and non-routine maintenance for all equipment in the assigned areas and/or job sites, following superior instructions.
2. Identify electrical malfunctions and proceed promptly with the appropriate repairs.
3. Ensure proper use and management of all electrical repairs, tools, and testing equipment.
4. Interpret manuals and diagrams of electrical installations.
5. Be well-informed about all relevant work and safety procedures issued by Saipem and the Operator, applying them and promoting their implementation.
6. Use compulsory protective equipment and maintain safety awareness during daily work.
7. Attend safety meetings and conduct special safety meetings with the electrical crew when necessary.
8. Carry out duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan when needed.
9. Report promptly any safety hazard, accident, near-miss, or non-conformance through proper channels.
10. Organize tools and materials needed to perform the work.
11. Ensure good housekeeping in the working area.
12. Propose spare parts for purchase.
