Stretch Zone is seeking an experienced general auto mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles using computerized tools and hand tools. You will perform routine maintenance, inspect parts for wear, and explain repairs to clients to ensure satisfaction.

Key duties include diagnostics, oil changes, brake work, testing, and detailed documentation. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and accuracy in repair work, with opportunities for advancement within the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automotive repair or a related field.
• High school diploma and automotive technology training.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics using computerized diagnostic equipment to identify engine, transmission, and electrical issues.
• Maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
• Repair of worn components like brake pads, sensors, and wheel bearings.
• Testing drives and using testing equipment to ensure vehicle functionality.
• Customer service: explain repairs and vehicle issues to customers clearly.
• Documentation of service work, parts used, and hours worked.
