Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in New Jersey is hiring to support a busy collision repair operation. The role focuses on maintaining clean facilities, preparing vehicles for service, and moving vehicles between locations while delivering strong customer service on every touchpoint.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment with automotive experience preferred. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Clear close vision required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of office interior and production area.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in neat order.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of vehicles after repairs.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Job Description:

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Education and/or Experience Required:

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Automotive experience preferred
• Clear close vision required
• 18 years or age or older
• Valid Driver's license
• Strong attention to detail
