Job summary

All-Pro Auto Reconditioning seeks an Automotive Detail Lead to maintain quality, boost location efficiency, and oversee vehicle cleaning and detailing (washing, vacuuming, waxing, sealant) across multiple sites. You’ll train staff, manage supplies, and stay current with new products and techniques under the Area Manager’s guidance.

The role requires prior automotive detail experience and strong communication/time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Management experience preferred.
• Automotive detail experience required.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality of work performed by All-Pro.
• Maximize efficiency and development of locations.
• Responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles, including washing, vacuuming, waxing, and applying protective sealant.
• Create and maintain a productive on-site work environment with tools and training.
• Keep up with new products and techniques and inform the Area Manager.
• Maintain appropriate onsite supply quantities per location as directed by Area Manager.
• Hold meetings with associates to discuss issues, goals, and constraints.
• Work with Lot Coordinator/Area Manager to ensure proper staffing.
• Create and maintain weekly schedules and optimize as needed.
• Ensure end of day checkout procedures are followed.
• Reinforce standards for professionalism, appearance, etc.
• Directly process recruiting, hiring training, and performance management of detail associates.
• Communicate daily with Lot Coordinator/Area Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
