Job summary

All-Pro Auto Reconditioning in Wilmington, NC is seeking an Automotive Detail Lead to oversee detailing operations, maintain high-quality workmanship, and drive efficiency across locations. You will lead a team, set daily goals, and ensure customer vehicles are spotless and protected.

The role requires hands-on detailing expertise, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules, recruit and train staff, and stay current with new products and techniques to deliver outstanding results.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience preferred.
• Automotive detail experience required.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality of work performed by All-Pro.
• Maximize efficiency and development of locations.
• Detail vehicles: wash, vacuum, wax, sealant to maintain appearance.
• Handle service calls and customer emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Provide tools, training, and support for staff to work efficiently.
• Stay informed about new products and techniques and inform Area Manager.
• Maintain onsite supply quantities per location as directed by Area Manager.
• Hold meetings to discuss issues, daily goals, and constraints.
• Create and maintain weekly schedules and optimize as needed.
• Ensure end-of-day checkout procedures are followed at each location.
• Reinforce standards for professionalism, appearance, vehicle, work ethic, and customer service.
• Direct recruitment, hiring training, and performance management of detail associates.
• Communicate daily with Lot Coordinator/Area Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
