Baxter Shared Services is seeking a Controller to lead accounting across the dealership network. You will oversee financial statements, budgets, inventory, and cash management, partnering with leaders to deliver insights and strategic guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field or 5+ years in accounting experience
• Knowledge of modern, innovative accounting and finance models, tools, practices, platforms, and approaches
• Accounting & Finance data analytics experience is required
• Strong collaboration and communication capabilities and skillsets to develop and effectively maintain partnerships internally and externally
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance laws
• Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all store levels of leadership and shared services
• Strong business acumen, strategic agility, and operational execution capabilities
• Excellent written communication, time management, detail orientation, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle

Responsabilités

• Lead store accounting team including coaching, development and performance management
• Prepare financial statements per manufacturer formats and timelines
• Ensure manufacturer accounts, warranty claims, rebates and co-op advertising are current
• Review and reconcile general ledger and schedule accounts
• Partner with store leaders across segments to address discrepancies
• Liaise with external auditors and tax professionals during audits
• Provide financial insights and support decision-making to leadership
• Manage assets including inventory, cash, and reconciliations
• Ensure GAAP recording accuracy and proper accounting treatments
• Forecast the store's annual budget and collaborate on the forecast
