Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Porter to support vehicle preparation and the overall cleanliness of the shop and office areas. You will pre-wash vehicles before repairs and perform thorough interior and exterior cleanups after service completion.

Responsibilities include transporting vehicles to sublet locations, maintaining parking areas, and upholding the WOW plan daily. Candidates should be 18+, have a valid license, and bring reliability and a customer‑focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Clear close vision required.
• 18 years or age or older.
• Valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Job Description

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Compensation Details

$15- $18 / Hour Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.

Supplemental Pay: This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
