Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Parts Coordinator to manage the ordering, receiving, storing, and dispatching of parts for repairs. You will ensure parts quality and accuracy in line with the production schedule, driving a smooth customer experience.

You will work with multiple vendors and use MIS systems to process invoices, track parts, and support the shop’s fast-paced environment. A HS diploma and 1–3+ years in automotive parts are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Order and receive parts for repair orders and verify accuracy.
• Manage parts storage, dispatch, and return to support production schedules.
• Enter invoices into MIS and reconcile vendor invoice history.
• Label, track, and store parts with RO number and vehicle.
• Communicate price changes and supplier updates to the team as needed.
• Assist in sourcing parts from Car-part, Progi, APU, LKQ and other vendors.

You control your future.Job Description:The Parts Coordinator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while proactively managing the process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order. The Parts Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by verifying the accuracy and quality of parts received in a timely manner as per the production schedule and vehicle needs.Key Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.Work with vendors to order and receive all parts as indicated on the repair orders confirming the quality, correctness and quantity of parts received, accurately identifying parts necessary to complete repairs in the shop.Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule.Enter all parts invoices into the recommended Management Information System (MIS).Label and track all parts by the R.O.# and store them with the vehicle and/or scheduled repairs; Communicate all Parts Price Changes (also known as Parts Price Increases - PPI) to all required team members.Order and receive supplemental Parts in the MIS, monitor performance of parts, materials and sublet vendors.
