Job summary

McCarthy Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Body Shop Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will examine damaged vehicles, estimate repair costs, and work closely with insurance companies to manage customer claims efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the automotive estimating field and will be able to handle high volume work under pressure. We offer extensive employment perks including medical, dental, vision insurance, as well as a Health Savings

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in estimating/body shop/automotive field preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Insurance company estimator experience is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles and estimate repair costs.
• Work with insurance companies to manage claims.
• Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction with repairs.
• Ensure productivity within the shop.

Job Responsibilities:

• Automotive Body Shop Estimators examine damaged vehicles and estimate repair costs.
• Automotive Body Shop Estimator works with the insurance companies to manage the claims for our customers
• Follows up to ensure customer satisfaction with repairs
• Follows up to ensure productivity within the shop

Requirements:

• Experience in the estimating/body shop/automotive field, 3-5 years preferred
• Insurance company estimator a big plus
• Valid Driver’s License required

Skills:

• Confidence to handle high volumes under pressure
• Knowledge in Estimating CCC Pathways / CCC One
• Effectively communicate with insurance companies and customers
