Job summary

The Boyd Group seeks an experienced Estimator to deliver superb customer service while accurately assessing vehicle damage and coordinating repairs. You will document all interactions, prepare repair plans, and communicate with customers and insurers to keep projects on track and KPI-aligned.

Responsibilities include guiding customers through the repair journey, ensuring insurance requirements are met, and collaborating with the management team to optimize workflow and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in auto repair/DRP environment.
• Ability to look up information and follow instructions.
• Awareness of DRP compliance requirements.
• I-CAR training completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Document and update every customer interaction with pertinent details.
• Provide customers with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance programs and DRP metrics.
• Participate in daily production walks with management.
• Attend Health & Safety and staff meetings; support teammates as required.
• Attend training sessions and workshops recommended by the Store Manager.
• Understand insurance programs and procedures.

You control your future.Job Description:The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
