Ideal Tridon Group is seeking an Automatic Clamp Machine (ACM) Set-Up Operator for 2nd and 3rd shifts in Smyrna, Tennessee. You will operate the automatic clamp assembly machine and press, set up equipment, calibrate controls, and help meet daily production targets with strong attention to safety and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and about one year of related machine setup experience, plus basic computer skills.

Basic computer skills to operate computerized control systems.

Responsibilities

Sets up and calibrates machinery according to production specifications.
Adjusts machine settings to optimize production efficiency and meet targets.
Performs routine maintenance like cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of equipment.
Troubleshoots malfunctions, identifies root causes, and implements corrective actions.
Records production data and logs, including machine settings and output.
Follows safety protocols and SOPs to maintain a safe work environment.
Collaborates with team members and other departments to coordinate schedules.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Automatic Clamp Machine (ACM) Set-Up Operator will operate the automatic clamp assembly machine and press. We are seeking a Auto Clamp Machine Operators for 2nd and 3rd shift to join our team at Ideal Tridon Group!

Shift Schedule

2nd 3:00pm - 11:00pm Monday - Friday
3rd 11:00pm - 7:00am Sunday-Thursday

Hourly Pay Rate Range

Hourly Pay Rate Range $22.75 - $25.19

2nd Shift Includes $1.00 Differential
3rd Shift includes $1.10 Differential

Duties & Responsibilities

Sets up and calibrates machinery and equipment, according to production specifications and instructions.
Adjusts machine settings, parameters, and controls as needed to optimize production efficiency, minimize waste, and meet production targets and deadlines.
Performs routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery and equipment, to ensure proper functioning and prolong equipment lifespan.
Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions or adjustments to resume production and prevent a recurrence.
Records production data, including machine settings, material usage, production output, downtime, and quality control results, in production logs or computerized systems.
Follows safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant work environment for oneself and others.
Collaborates with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate production schedules, prioritize tasks, and address production-related issues or concerns.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities

Technical knowledge and understanding of machinery and equipment
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and operational issues.
Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet production deadlines.
Basic computer skills to operate computerized control systems.
Physical stamina and strength to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent education and experience required.
One year of related machine setup operation or other relevant hands‑on mechanical experience is required.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.
May occasionally climb stairs, drive forklifts, and operate equipment.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
