Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a claims professional to analyze and process complex auto bodily injury and commercial transportation claims by reviewing coverage, investigations, liability, and damages. You’ll ensure timely resolution within client requirements and industry best practices, with emphasis on quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of personal and commercial auto policies, coverage principles, and laws.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes complex auto bodily injury and commercial claims, including documentation and coding.
• Responsible for litigation process on litigated claims.
• Coordinates vendor management, including independent adjusters for investigations.
• Reports large claims to excess carriers.
• Develops and maintains action plans to meet state contact deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; handles salvage disposition.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Performs other duties and supports the organization’s quality programs.
