Job summary

Classic Collision seeks an experienced Collision Repair Technician in Summerville, SC. You will disassemble vehicles, plan repairs with estimators, and perform dent repair and welding to deliver a 100% repair plan.

Responsibilities include following work orders, using a range of tools, test-driving repaired vehicles, and ensuring safety standards are met. A background check and valid license are required, with ASE/I-CAR certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2-3 years collision repair experience preferred.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Background check required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators and prepare a 100% Repair Plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure by following the work order for all operations listed.
• Remove upholstery, electrical components, and access damage as needed; store parts securely.
• Repair dents and weld parts; ensure gaps and fits meet industry standards; reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools and test drive to verify safety and quality.
• Perform related duties as assigned and comply with procedures.
