Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician in the Atlanta area to deliver high quality repairs and exceptional customer experiences. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring speed, quality and customer excellence in every touchpoint.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably a technical program or apprenticeship in auto body repair. You will work with a team to meet KPIs and uphold the WOW standard.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience with auto body repair techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents, dimples and other minor body damage; apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass as needed.
• Weld and attach parts; prepare and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
