Job summary

Northside Auto Group is seeking a Body Shop Technician in San Antonio, TX. This full-time role repairs damaged vehicle bodies according to factory and dealership standards and time guidelines.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of related experience, reads and interprets complex documents, holds an I-CAR certificate, and a valid driver’s license. Safety PPE and compliance with regulations are required.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
• I-CAR Certificate of Advanced Training required
• Valid Driver's License
• Must follow safety rules and wear PPE including respirator as required

Responsibilities

• Repairs vehicles per estimate and manufacturer standards.
• Checks parts against estimate and ensures correct parts are ordered.
• Prepares vehicles for body repair work.
• Notifies management of additional repairs or difficulties that may affect time or quality.
• Maintains tools and equipment; adheres to safety regulations.
