Responsibilities

1. Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently plans repair process.
2. Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status.
3. Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
4. Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
5. Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to access vehicle parts.
6. Participates in all required safety meetings.
7. Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
8. Directs the work of an apprentice when needed, explaining procedures and assisting with unusual problems.

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

The role offers competitive compensation, with pay based on experience, certifications, and qualifications. The position is paid on a commission/flag rate structure, with guaranteed minimum wages per local laws. The listed salary range is an average for full-time employees.

Pay Range: USD $65,455.00 to $180,000.00 per year
