Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an experienced Collision Repair Technician to join our Livingston, TX shop on-site. You will work with estimators to assess damage, plan repairs, and perform disassembly and reassembly with quality and safety in mind.

Responsibilities include removing panels, repairing dents, welding, finishing surfaces, and testing vehicles after repair. We value integrity, teamwork, and a customer-focused attitude in a supportive shop culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2-3 years collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in assessing damage and preparing repair plans.
• Ensure all needed repairs are identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure by following the work order for all operations.
• Remove upholstery and components to access damaged areas and protect parts.
• Repair dents and weld parts; ensure gaps and fits meet industry standards and reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools including welders and grinders.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before painting in the Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and comply with procedures.
• Follow safety rules and company SOPs at all times.
