Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Arden, DE is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and repaint using a range of tools while ensuring safety and quality.

You will plan repairs, prepare cost estimates, and work with the WOW plan to meet KPIs. You will be part of a team, helping to deliver exceptional customer experiences with meticulous workmanship and efficient turnaround.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with limited supervision.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle body repair methods.
• Experience with auto body shop tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
