Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Michigan is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by meticulously repairing vehicles damaged in accidents. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars to restore them to pre-accident condition.

You will realign chassis and install or replace parts, including glass, while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role supports the team in achieving KPIs and acts as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a consistent WOW plan execution and customer experience.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld, prime, and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect vehicles for quality.
