Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2–3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist collision estimators in assessing damage and preparing a 100% repair plan.
• Identify all needed repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedures and follow work orders for all operations listed.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to access damaged areas and protect parts.
• Repair body damage by hammering, filling, welding, aligning gaps and reassembling after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, soldering, cutting torch, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before painting and handing off to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive vehicles to ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned and follow safety procedures.
