Classic Collision is seeking a capable Collision Repair Technician at our Orangeburg, SC location. You will participate in the full repair process, from disassembly to inspection, using hand and power tools to restore vehicles to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2–3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Successful completion of background check required.
• Integrity, respect and accountability at every level.
• Customer service oriented to build satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist collision estimators in assessing damage and preparing a 100% repair plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure following the work order for all operations listed.
• Remove upholstery and parts to access damaged area; store parts to prevent damage.
• Repair body by hammering, filling, welding, and aligning parts to industry standards.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, soldering, cutting torch, etc.).
• Finish surfaces by filing, grinding and sanding before paint stage.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other related duties and follow all SOPs and safety rules.
