Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an Automotive Collision Repair Technician in Texas. Join a rapidly growing company focused on safety, quality, integrity and heart in every repair.

Responsibilities include disassembly, repairs, and final inspection to ensure vehicles meet industry standards. The role requires 18+ years old, valid driver’s license, and preferred I-CAR/ASE certifications with 2–3 years of collision repair experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage and prepare a 100% Repair Plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Plan work procedure: follow work order for all operations listed.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic windows, and seat operating equipment to access damaged area; store parts to prevent damage.
• Mend damaged body by hammering out or filling dents and welding parts; ensure gaps and fits meet standards; reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, blocks, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns, etc.).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before turning vehicle over to Paint Dept.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Comply with all Classic Collision SOPs, safety rules, and guidelines.
