Job summary

DARCARS Collision Center of Prince George's County is hiring an Auto Body Technician / Mechanic to repair damaged vehicle bodies and components in accordance with manufacturer and dealership specifications. This role offers unlimited work volume, 80%+ OEM parts usage, paid manufacturer and ICAR training, and a comprehensive benefits plan including 401(k) and employee discounts.

Qualifications include automotive or collision repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• Previous automotive or collision repair experience preferred.
• CSI and quality scores above the regional average preferred.
• Ability to perform vehicle repair and maintenance services efficiently.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work on repetitive and complex tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background check).

Responsibilities

• Perform work detailed on vehicle repair orders in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with urgency and strong attention to detail.
• Maintain and assist with identifying and sourcing parts and materials.
• Meet or exceed the Collision Center’s productivity requirements.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations (including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know).

DARCARS Collision Center of Prince George's County is now hiring an Auto Body Technician / Mechanic to join our growing team. As an Auto Body Technician / Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle bodies and components in accordance with manufacturer and dealership specifications and time standards.
