Job summary

The Boyd Group is opening a new auto body shop in Beavercreek, near Dayton, and seeks an Auto Body Technician. You will assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, disassemble and reassemble parts, realign frames, and restore paint finishes with a focus on speed, quality and customer satisfaction.

You will work with a team to meet KPIs, read job orders, and use various shop tools to complete repairs to high standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of auto body repair methods and tool use.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Weld, fit, and repaint vehicles to factory standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
