The role requires frame machine operation, knowledge of manufacturer repair procedures, and I-CAR welding certification. You may supervise apprentices and must pass a background check.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles and plan repair process.
• Communicate repair status with team.
• Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decide on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, cycle time.
• Remove upholstery and components to access areas.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces.
• Direct the work of an apprentice when needed.
