Crash Champions is seeking a skilled Body Technician to join our team at 847 South White Horse Pike, NJ. You will inspect damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and ensure quality work while meeting deadlines. This role involves coordinating with teammates and directing an apprentice when needed.

The position offers a commission/flag pay structure with a posted range of 65,325 to 180,000 USD per year, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.

Responsabilités

• Examiners damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates with others on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical components and trim to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with power or hand tools.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures when needed.
