Job summary

DARCARS Collision Center of Baltimore is actively seeking an Auto Body Technician / Mechanic to repair damaged vehicle bodies to OEM specifications and time standards. You will de-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with precision, while sourcing parts and maintaining tools and equipment for optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive or collision repair experience preferred.
• CSI and quality scores above the regional average preferred
• Ability to perform vehicle repair and maintenance services efficiently
• Team-oriented with the ability to work on repetitive and complex tasks
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background check)

Responsibilities

• Perform work detailed on vehicle repair orders in accordance with manufacturer standards
• De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with urgency and strong attention to detail
• Maintain and assist with identifying and sourcing parts and materials
• Meet or exceed the Collision Center’s productivity requirements
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working conditions
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations (including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know)
