Job summary

Classic Collision is hiring for a collision repair technician in Summerville, SC. The role involves disassembling vehicles, assessing damage, planning repair procedures, and restoring vehicles to manufacturer standards.

You will remove and replace damaged components, weld and refinish, and ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards. The position requires 2–3 years of collision repair experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of collision repair experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow written instructions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assess vehicle damage to prepare a 100% repair plan.
• Identify all needed repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedures by following work orders.
• Remove upholstery, components, and access panels to reach damaged areas.
• Mend damaged panels, weld replacements, and ensure proper fit and finish.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality.
• Adhere to all safety rules and standard operating procedures.
