Classic Collision in North Charleston, SC is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to join our team. You will perform disassembly, repairs, and reassembly to restore vehicles to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly to assist collision estimators in preparing a 100% repair plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs are identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure following the work order.
• Remove upholstery, electrical and hydraulic components to access damaged areas.
• Mend damaged body panels by hammering, filling, welding and reassembly after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, sander, etc.).
• File, grind and sand repaired surfaces; inspect and test drive for safety/quality.
• Comply with all SOPs, safety rules, and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
