Job summary

Moss Bros. GMC of Moreno Valley is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to service and repair vehicles at our Moreno Valley location. You will remove and replace damaged components, straighten frames, and perform body repairs to factory standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of body shop experience, frame machine familiarity, and a clean driving record. Certification in body repair and I-CAR welding are preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Body Shop Technician.
• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified preferred.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Aluminum repair certifications a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window-and-seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders.
• Fill depressions with body filler.
• Remove damaged fenders, panels
• Bolt or weld replacement parts in position
• Straighten bent automobile frames.
• File, grind, sand, and prime, repair surfaces.
• Aim headlights, align wheels and bleed the hydraulic brake system.
• Repair or replace defective mechanical parts
