Crash Champions is seeking a skilled Body Technician in the United States with expertise in frame machine operation and repair planning. The role involves hands-on repairs, collaboration with teammates, and ensuring high-quality workmanship while maintaining on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates will have I-CAR welding certification or equivalent, knowledge of manufacturer repair processes, and the ability to supervise apprentices.

Qualifications

Frame machine operation knowledge.
I-CAR welding certification or equivalent.
Understanding of manufacturer repair processes.

Responsibilities

Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
Communicates repair status with team.
Performs quality repairs with on-time status in mind.
Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, cycle time.
Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to access areas.
Participates in safety meetings.
Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with tools.
Directs an apprentice and explains procedures as needed.
