Job summary

Art Moehn Auto Group in Michigan is seeking an experienced Automotive Body Technician to join our Collision Center team. You will perform high-quality collision repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring precise frame alignment and panel replacement while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of automotive body repair experience, a State of Michigan Body Repair Certification, and strong welding and panel repair skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of automotive body repair experience.
• State of Michigan Body Repair Certification required.
• Proficient in body, frame, and mechanical repair.
• Experience using frame measuring and straightening equipment.
• Strong welding and panel repair/replacement skills.
• I-CAR certifications preferred but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to perform physical repair work.
• Strong communication skills with customers and coworkers, in person and by phone.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality collision repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Straighten and measure vehicle frames.
• Weld damaged panels and components as needed.
