Job summary

Crash Champions is hiring an experienced vehicle repair technician to examine damaged vehicles and plan efficient repair processes. You will work with team members to communicate repair status and perform high‑quality repairs while keeping to scheduled timelines.

The role offers a commission/flag pay structure and a compensation range reflecting the position’s responsibilities, with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Frame machine operation proficiency.
• I‑CAR welding certification is preferred.
• Body repair certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of OEM repair processes and repair data.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.
• Certification in body repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates with others on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and related components to access vehicle areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with power/hand tools.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures when needed.
