Crash Champions is hiring a Body Technician at our location in Atlanta, GA (ZIP 30318). The position is a regular full-time on-site role with a posted pay range of $65,000 to $174,600 per year. The job includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) with match, and other benefits.

You will perform vehicle body repairs, use a frame machine, and may supervise junior staff. The ideal candidate has frame machine experience, body repair certification, I-CAR welding

Formación

• Uses a frame machine to check and align vehicle frames.
• Certification in body repair is preferred.
• Understands vehicle repair procedures specified by manufacturers.
• I-CAR welding certification is required or preferred.
• Skilled in analyzing and interpreting measurement data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel and guide tasks.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check.

Responsabilidades

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process efficiently.
• Communicates with teammates about vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, electrical components, and trim to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings as required.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using tools.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures when needed.
