Job summary

VIVE Collision in Mount Joy, PA is seeking an Auto Body Collision Repair Technician to join a busy shop with modern equipment and steady work. You will perform structural, body, frame, and unibody repairs, assist estimators with accurate estimates, and ensure repairs meet quality standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of auto body collision repair experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read repair orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of auto body collision repair experience.
• A valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) are required.
• I-CAR and OEM certifications or training preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; Auto Body Vo-Tech certification strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Must supply your own tools in good working conditions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret repair instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform replacement and repair of bolt-on and weld-on panels in accordance with manufacturer and company standards.
• Execute structural and non-structural repairs, including airbag replacement and minor mechanical work as needed.
• Meet or exceed company performance standards for technician efficiency, cycle time, and quality to ensure on-time vehicle delivery and low return rates.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with Production Managers and Estimators regarding repair progress, vehicle status, and supplemental needs.
• Follow all safety protocols, utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to proper repair procedures and hazardous waste disposal guidelines.
• When applicable, test drive vehicles after repairs to verify safe operation, compliance with repair standards, and the quality and effectiveness of completed work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper tool return and management of parts and materials.
