Classic Collision, established in 1983, is seeking an experienced collision repair technician to join our team. The role involves disassembly, repair planning, and executing bodywork with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.

• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist collision estimators in assessing damage and prepare a 100% repair plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure by following the work order.
• Remove upholstery and related components to access damage; store parts properly.
• Mend damaged body by hammering out or filling dents and welding; ensure gaps meet standards.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, blocks, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces prior to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other related duties; comply with SOPs and safety guidelines.
