Preston Autobody of Wilmington is growing and seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our high-volume collision center. You will perform quality repairs following manufacturer procedures and document teardown for efficient repairs.

Qualifications

• Previous collision repair experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive body repair.
• Ability to read and follow repair procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and dependable work ethic; team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality collision repairs according to manufacturer procedures.
• Complete structural and non-structural repairs.
• Tear down and properly document vehicles for repair.
• Replace and repair body panels, frames, and components.
• Perform welding and sectioning procedures when required.
• Perform bodywork, straightening, and panel alignment.
• Work closely with estimators and management to ensure complete repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow OEM repair procedures and Preston Autobody quality standards.

• Signing Bonus!* $2,500 on start date and $2,500 after 6 months!

What You’ll Do

• Perform quality collision repairs according to manufacturer procedures

• Tear down and properly document vehicles for repair
