Preston Autobody of Wilmington is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our busy collision center in Wilmington, Delaware. You’ll perform high-quality collision repairs, teardown and documentation, and work closely with estimators to deliver complete repairs.

Qualifications

• Previous collision repair experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive body repair.
• Ability to properly tear down and repair vehicles.
• Ability to read and follow repair procedures. Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and dependable work ethic.
• Team-oriented attitude.
• Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
• I-CAR or manufacturer certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Tear down and properly document vehicles for repair
• Replace and repair body panels, frames, and components
• Perform welding and sectioning procedures when required
• Perform bodywork, straightening, and panel alignment
• Work closely with estimators and management to ensure complete repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow OEM repair procedures and Preston Autobody quality standards
