Preston Autobody of Wilmington is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician in Wilmington, DE. You will perform quality collision repairs, document teardown processes, and work closely with estimators to ensure complete repairs.

The role emphasizes high craftsmanship, adherence to OEM procedures, and a commitment to customer satisfaction in a busy collision center environment.

Qualifications

• Previous collision repair experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive body repair.
• Ability to properly tear down and repair vehicles.
• Ability to read and follow repair procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and dependable work ethic.
• Team-oriented attitude.
• I-CAR or manufacturer certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality collision repairs according to manufacturer procedures.
• Complete structural and non-structural repairs.
• Tear down and properly document vehicles for repair.
• Replace and repair body panels, frames, and components.
• Perform welding and sectioning procedures when required.
• Perform bodywork, straightening, and panel alignment.
• Work closely with estimators and management to ensure complete repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Preston Autobody of Wilmington is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team!

If you take pride in your craftsmanship, care about doing repairs the right way, and want to work in a professional, high-volume collision center, we want to talk to you.

*Signing Bonus!* $2,500 on start date and $2,500 after 6 months!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform quality collision repairs according to manufacturer procedures
• Complete structural and non-structural repairs
• Tear down and properly document vehicles for repair
• Replace and repair body panels, frames, and components
• Perform welding and sectioning procedures when required
• Perform bodywork, straightening, and panel alignment
• Work closely with estimators and management to ensure complete repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow OEM repair procedures and Preston Autobody quality standards
