Responsibilities

1. Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan repair processes.
2. Communicate with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
3. Perform quality repairs while adhering to time schedules.
4. Decide on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
5. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim to access vehicle parts.
6. Participate in all safety meetings.
7. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using appropriate tools.
8. Supervise and guide apprentices or assistants when needed, explaining procedures and addressing issues.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

This position is paid on a commission/flag rate structure, with guaranteed minimum wages. The offered salary range is USD $65,000 to $180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
