Responsibilities
  1. Examine damaged vehicles and plan repair processes efficiently.
  2. Communicate with team members about vehicle repair status.
  3. Perform quality repairs while adhering to time schedules.
  4. Decide on repair versus replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
  5. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window equipment, and trim to access vehicles and fenders.
  6. Participate in all required safety meetings.
  7. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
  8. Supervise apprentices and explain procedures as needed.
Qualifications
  1. Ability to operate a frame machine.
  2. Certification in body repair preferred.
  3. Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
  4. I-CAR welding certification.
  5. Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
  6. Ability to supervise repair personnel.
  7. Must pass a thorough background check.

Compensation is based on a combination of factors including skills, experience, and certifications. This role is paid on a commission/flag rate structure, with guaranteed minimum wages for all hours worked each week. The listed pay range reflects typical full-time earnings.
