Lenco Armored Vehicles is seeking an Auto Body Technician to finalize exterior prep, surfacing, and painting for armored vehicles. You will ensure durability and quality of finishes across various assemblies at our Pittsfield facility.

The role requires experience in auto body repair, precision in surface preparation, and the ability to handle primers and coatings per engineering specs. This is a full-time, on-site position offering stable hours and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in auto body repair or industrial finishing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare armor surfaces for paint (sanding, filling, masking, and cleaning).
• Repair minor imperfections in metal and body panels to ensure a smooth finish.
• Apply sealants, primers, and coatings according to engineering specifications.
• Mask specific areas, tires, and sensitive components prior to coating.
• Inspect surfaces for defects before and after the priming process.
• Maintain finishing tools and equipment in a clean, working condition.

Job Summary

The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for the final preparation, surfacing, and/or painting the vehicles, ensuring the exterior meets durability requirements.

What You’ll Do
