Future Opportunities

• Minimum 4-6 years of prior collision repair auto body experience

The Auto Body Technician's primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. The technician disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles, playing a key role in our commitment to speed, quality, and customer satisfaction. They work collaboratively with team members to meet KPIs and represent the brand positively.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Execute the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates; use tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and minor damages; apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields.
• Replace or repair interior parts.
• Weld and attach parts; prepare and repaint vehicles with factory or equivalent paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect vehicles post-repair for quality assurance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read job orders and work independently.
• Ability to collaborate with other repairers.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle body repair methods and procedures.
• Proficiency with tools required for the trade.

Other Requirements

• Ability to work safely in noisy, odorous environments.
• Lift up to 30 pounds.
• Visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.
• Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $22 - $25, based on performance and experience. Compensation includes a performance-based flat rate system, with a minimum wage guarantee if applicable. Additional bonus opportunities may be available.
