Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Auto Body Repair Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition and ensure top‑quality workmanship. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble bodies using standard tools, read repair orders, and collaborate with fellow technicians to deliver safe, reliable results.

Responsibilities include planning repair work, preparing cost estimates for customers, inspecting completed work, and maintaining high customer satisfaction through meticulous repair

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade

• Hammers out dents, dimples, and other minor body damage and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace them with new or aftermarket parts.
• Inspect vehicles post‑repair to ensure all work executed correctly.
