Responsibilities

1. Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan repair processes.
2. Communicate with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
3. Perform quality repairs while adhering to time schedules.
4. Decide on repair versus replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
5. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim to access vehicle parts.
6. Participate in all required safety meetings.
7. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
8. Supervise and direct apprentices or repair personnel when needed, explaining procedures and solving problems.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

Compensation is competitive and based on experience, skills, and certifications. The position is paid on a commission/flag rate structure, ensuring minimum wage requirements are met. The listed pay range is an average for full-time employees.
